Heavyweight Streetwear, Sold With Attitude

Hoodienky makes heavyweight hoodies, techwear outerwear and accessories, designed in Berlin and made in small runs in Portugal. The design already had the attitude streetwear needs — oversized type, sage accents and cut corners on every card — but only as a desktop prototype. TeamExio rebuilt it as a complete, responsive storefront structured for Shopify, so the store keeps its edge from the first drop on the homepage through to cart and checkout, on any screen.

A Bold Design That Wasn’t Ready to Sell Yet

The design had everything a streetwear label needs to stand out: oversized type, sage accents and cut corners on every card. As a prototype, though, it only worked on desktop, and every page carried its own copy of the catalogue — so the same hoodie could change name, price and stock from one page to the next. Before Hoodienky could sell a single drop, the design had to become a store.

  1. Desktop-only layouts

The prototype only held together at desktop width, so on phones and tablets the sharp, oversized layouts had nowhere to go.

  2. A catalogue copied page by page

Each page held its own copy of the product data, so one hoodie could show a different name, price or stock level depending on where a shopper found it.

  3. No path into Shopify

As a standalone prototype, the pages had no structure that mapped onto a Shopify theme, leaving no clear route from design to a live store.

  4. An identity easy to sand down

The cut-corner cards, oversized type and sage accents are the brand — a rushed responsive rebuild could easily have smoothed them into a generic template.

One Catalogue, Every Screen, Ready for Shopify

TeamExio rebuilt all 21 pages as clean, responsive HTML that maps section by section onto a Shopify Online Store 2.0 theme. A single catalogue in Shopify's product format now feeds every page, with unique SKUs and consistent prices, and the cart, filters, wishlist and accounts all work — without losing any of the edge the design started with.

  1. 21 pages, every screen

Each page was rebuilt to hold the design from a wide desktop down to phone width, with the oversized type and cut-corner cards intact.

  2. Mapped onto Online Store 2.0

Pages are structured section by section to match a Shopify Online Store 2.0 theme, so the build moves into Shopify without a redesign.

  3. One catalogue, one truth

A single product catalogue in Shopify's format feeds every page, with unique SKUs so names, prices and stock agree everywhere.

  4. A store that actually works

Cart, filters, wishlist and customer accounts all function, so shoppers can go from the homepage drop to checkout.

Bringing Hoodienky’s Drops to Shopify

From the homepage hero through the shop grid, product pages, cart and checkout, every screen keeps the brand's oversized type, sage accents and cut-corner cards. Shoppers can narrow the range by price, gender, category and size, move from New Arrivals into accessories, and choose size and colour on product pages built around a full image gallery.

A Streetwear Store That Keeps Its Edge

  • Rebuilt all 21 pages as responsive HTML that stays true to the design on desktop and phone.
  • Replaced page-by-page product copies with one Shopify-format catalogue, unique SKUs and consistent prices.
  • Delivered a working storefront from the homepage drop to cart and checkout, with filters, wishlist and accounts.
  • Made images 96% lighter for an 80% performance improvement, with zero console errors at desktop and phone width.

Hoodienky now has a storefront that looks like the brand on every screen, and every hoodie carries the same name, price and stock wherever it appears.

By rebuilding the design around one catalogue and a structure that maps straight onto Shopify Online Store 2.0, TeamExio gave Hoodienky a complete store — every page checked, all 112 internal links resolving — ready to move into a Shopify theme without losing the attitude that makes the brand worth wearing.
